![]() Overusing our search engine with a very large number of searches in a very short amount of time.Using a badly configured (or badly written) browser add-on for blocking content.Running a "scraper" or "downloader" program that either does not identify itself or uses fake headers to elude detection.Using a script or add-on that scans GameFAQs for box and screen images (such as an emulator front-end), while overloading our search engine. There is no official GameFAQs app, and we do not support nor have any contact with the makers of these unofficial apps. Continued use of these apps may cause your IP to be blocked indefinitely. This triggers our anti-spambot measures, which are designed to stop automated systems from flooding the site with traffic. Some unofficial phone apps appear to be using GameFAQs as a back-end, but they do not behave like a real web browser does.Using GameFAQs regularly with these browsers can cause temporary and even permanent IP blocks due to these additional requests. If you are using Maxthon or Brave as a browser, or have installed the Ghostery add-on, you should know that these programs send extra traffic to our servers for every page on the site that you browse. The most common causes of this issue are: You dont need invisibility if your opponent is paralyzed, but there might be other foes in the room, and adding invisibility to a spell is always useful so you can cast it without decloaking.Your IP address has been temporarily blocked due to a large number of HTTP requests. watch out for reflect though, getting paralyzed by your own spell sucks. you can either do the damage up front, or have the duration the same and make it a damage over time spell. Probably the most efficient combat spell combo is Absorb health + para (+ invisibility optionally). ![]() abusing weakness effects is fun too, spell creation in this game makes you feel like a mad scientist sometimes. I do love to add paralysis to touch spells, even 1 sec magnitude is good to keep em down while you are draining their health. ![]() Sometimes i will make one of those max magnitude Drain health spells to kill enemies instantly, but this is kind of a cheap effect. If my 99 pt spell does 33 damage each of fire frost and shock, then if its reflected i'll be hit with 33 or 66 damage instead of all 99 usually. multiple effect spells however are good for enemies with reflect, because some of the effects will get through and hit, and the reflected damage will be less if it's split up. I always keep a few fire and frost spells handy for efficiency though, and i do like to combine elemental effects into a "trinity shot" type of thing, but its not the most efficient spell. I also do this with my summon and command spells, and a invisible healing spell as well.Īs far as effects, i prefer absorb health over elemental damage generally, healing and harming in the same move is worth the extra cost in magicka in my opinion. I like combining my attack spells with an invisibility effect, so i can cast without dropping invisibility in stealthy situations. I'd be interested to see what comes up :) Fair enough you could make a spell powerful enough to kill an enemy 100 times over, but if you can only cast it once then what's the point? You have a decent Magicka pool but you have a big dwemer ruin to get through and you're limited on potions. You may be fighting one enemy, you may be fighting 5. Obviously touch tends to be more efficient but that might not be an option. ![]() Other effects? Burden? Bound Armor? Shield? Paralyse?Īssume a veriety of situations. I tend to go with shock because I don't think many enemies resist it, and I like spells that do slow damage over time for efficiency, but also need a spell powerful enough to burst multiple enemies down quickly, I usually keep a touch spell for soul trapping.ĭo you prefer elements? Which one? Or multiple? Why?ĭamage Health / Drain Health / Absorb Health? This is what YOU use, not what you recommend a new player uses. I'm trying to come up with a list of very effective solutions and what to see people's opinions. So if that's the case provide spells for different situations. I apprecaite that it depends on the situation. ![]()
